Porcelain Veneers

Porcelain veneers can be used to improve the shape or color of a tooth, greatly improving a smile, and repairing chipped or damaged teeth. They are made of a thin shell of porcelain that is permanently bonded to the tooth.

Veneers are durable and resist staining and can be shaped as desired. They begin with an impression of the patient's teeth. A laboratory uses these and the dentist’s instructions to create the veneers. Usually temporary veneers are provided while the permanent ones are being made.
