Dental Implants

Implants are a relatively new solution to missing teeth. They can be used instead of bridges, partial dentures or dentures. They are the most expensive, but implants are permanent, look like real teeth and provide comfortable biting and chewing.

As with other such procedures, an impression is made and a new tooth created that will look natural in the patient’s mouth. It is then held in place with a screw implanted surgically into the bone. The patient may experience temporary soreness, tenderness and/or swelling for a few days after.
